Everything you need to fill your diary

Automatic SMS reminders

Every booking triggers a confirmation text and timed reminders. You set the timing once — WAppoint handles the rest.

Delivery reports

See exactly when each SMS was delivered, thanks to delivery receipts built into WAppoint's managed SMS service. No more wondering whether a reminder went through.

24h, 2h and 1h reminders

Choose the reminder schedule per service. A day-before reminder, a same-day reminder, or both — tuned to how your customers behave.

Works with email too

SMS is one of two channels. Reach customers by text and email from the same reminder settings.

Booking updates included

If a customer reschedules or cancels, reminders are updated or cancelled automatically. No stale messages, no confusion.

SMS reporting

Track SMS usage and delivery from your dashboard, so you always know how many reminders have been sent and delivered.

Frequently asked questions

How much do SMS appointment reminders cost?

SMS allowances are included on paid plans — 50 per billing cycle on Starter and 200 on Pro. If you need more, top-up packs are priced in pounds: 50 for £9, 100 for £25, 500 for £40 and 1,000 for £65. Email confirmations and reminders never use your SMS allowance.

Is it legal to send SMS appointment reminders in the UK?

Booking-related reminders are generally fine under UK PECR rules because the customer has an existing relationship and made the appointment. Marketing messages require consent, so keep reminders transactional and booking-specific — which is exactly what WAppoint sends.

Can customers reply to SMS reminders?

SMS reminders are a one-way notification, but every message includes a manage link, so customers can reschedule or cancel from their phone without calling you.

Do SMS reminders work with the booking calendar?

Yes. If a booking is rescheduled or cancelled, the SMS reminders are updated or cancelled automatically, so customers never get a reminder for an appointment that no longer exists.
