Refund Policy
Last updated 12 October 2026
This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, renewals and refunds work for WAppoint subscriptions and SMS credit purchases. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Paid plans are billed through Paddle, our merchant of record.
1. Subscription billing and renewal
- Paid plans are billed in advance — monthly or yearly — at the prices on the pricing page.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your billing settings in the dashboard.
2. What happens when you cancel
- Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep full access to your paid plan until the end of the billing period you have already paid for; after that, your account moves to the Free plan.
- There is no partial refund for unused time in a billing period you have already paid for, unless required by law or expressly stated below.
3. Refunds
- If a renewal was taken in error, or you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us via /contact (Billing category) within 14 days of the charge and we will review the situation and refund where the charge was made in error or a duplicate.
- Where Paddle operates a checkout flow in your region with a statutory cooling-off period (for example the EU 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services where the service has not been substantially consumed), your statutory rights apply and are honoured through Paddle's refund process.
- Except as required by law or where a charge was made in error, subscription fees for periods already used are non-refundable.
4. SMS credit packs (top-ups)
- SMS credit packs are one-time purchases added to your account.
- Top-up credits do not expire while your account is active.
- Unconsumed top-up credits are non-refundable once purchased, except where the purchase failed technically, was duplicated in error, or where required by law.
- Credits are account-specific and non-transferable.
5. Plan changes
- Upgrades take effect immediately; the price difference is handled by Paddle at checkout.
- Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep the higher plan until then.
6. Service issues
If a prolonged service problem materially affected your use of a paid plan, contact us and we will consider a goodwill credit or refund on the merits of each case.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us via /contact before initiating a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue quickly. Unauthorised chargebacks may lead to account suspension while the dispute is resolved with Paddle.
8. How to request a refund
Use /contact, choose the "Billing question" category, and include your business name, the charge date and what happened. We aim to respond promptly. Approved refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Paddle and typically appear within a few business days, depending on your bank.
